PP appointment

I had my 6 week Post Partum Appointment 2 days ago { can you believe its been 6 weeks already??? }
he was very pleased with the incision, but told me that my surgery was " challenging " which honestly scared me a bit. But he said i pulled through like a champ.
I am glad that my Doc in fort hood transferred me to Scott & White in Temple, i was in very capable hands and well cared for.
i am officially 5 pounds below my pre-prego weight, and i just now realized that i forgot to ask about my restrictions *CRAP*  i would like to start a light workout, but playing the kinect the other day wore me out and i was super sore for 3 days.
OH and you want to hear something crazy???? apparently i might still have some bleeding when its " the time of the month" due to the fact that they left my cervix. CRAZY huh?  its of course not going to be a full blown period like bleeding but i CAN / COULD experience some spotting.
He also went over my pathology report, and it indeed was a very severe case of Placenta Percreta and there was no way around the hysterectomy. Call me crazy but i am HAPPY about it, i would have been devastated to find out that the hysterectomy was unnecessary.
Allison is doing good, gaining weight and growing like crazy, but the Acid reflux is horrible, we had to put her on Zantac and it helps a lil. I hope she outgrows it VERY fast. it breaks my heart to see her in so much pain :(

Another update :)

Hello everyone

i hope i have a few readers left lol. This blog will be pretty " boring" from now on lol.
We had Allison's 2 week well baby check up today. And "meine kleine raupe nimmersatt" { My VERY hungry caterpillar} weighed in at a whooping 7 pounds 3 oz. That means she gained 2 pounds 6 oz since the day we left the hospital. She didnt get any shots { YAY} but had her newborn screening done { again} her poor lil foot bleed for LONG after we left the Clinic.
She is getting breast milk { exclusively } but i give it to her in a bottle. Because 1 i like to have control over how much she drinks & second i love that hubby and kiddos are able to feed her as well.
I am doing good. { as good as you can after having major surgery etc} i ditched the Pain killers about 10 days or so { GO me } and i started light housework such as sweeping etc.
I started taking Fenugreek a few days ago and holy hell i really do smell like maple syrup & hubby has been craving pancakes ever since  LOL { fenugreek is being used to flavor artificial syrups}
My scar is healing Nicely. Its barely visible YAY i gained 18 pounds through this whole pregnancy and now i am down 20 WOOOHOOOO breastfeeding really does help losing all that pregnancy weight

12 days Post Partum

Hey There

I am now at 12 days post partum, and i am proud to announce that i am back to my Pre-preggo weight.... but thats probably due to not having a uterus anymore, also i wasnt able to eat ANYTHING the first 6 days post OP everything made me sick, it was awful. I am now able to eat normal THANK GOD, there is nothing more awful than being HUNGRY but not being able to eat. Here are my first "progress pictures" i wont be able to workout for AT LEAST 6 months due to the vertical incision on my skin

My Scar is looking A LOT better already, which makes me SUPER happy.

a close up

 not much Preggo belly left :( i miss it already...

I bought a post partum Belly band to help my body to heal faster. It fits nicely, not too snug!. We will see if it actually helps any lol.
Hubby bought me some Victoria Secret panties, and i LOVE them :D i never had anything from VS besides the Sweat pants / jacket that he ruined a few months ago lol.

My in laws left today :( we were all heartbroken, but it was the hardest for the Girls. I hope they have a safe journey home!.

we took those pics right before they left

we are planing on visiting them in December for christmas <3
